Contouring has a reputation for being complicated, and for good reason — using the wrong shade or technique can make makeup look muddy, overdone, or simply unnatural. The Contour De Force Face Palette was designed to take the guesswork out of it. Each shade has been specifically chosen to work on Indian and South Asian skin tones, where many Western contour palettes fall too grey, too cool, or too light to make an impact.

The palette includes matte contour shades to sculpt and define, a blush to add warmth and life to the cheeks, and a highlighter to catch light naturally — everything needed to go from flat to sculpted in one compact product.

How to Contour for Indian Features

Indian facial structures vary widely, but a few principles work universally. Apply contour shade just below your cheekbones (suck in your cheeks — apply where your face hollows), along the hairline at the temples, and down the sides of the nose if desired. The key is to blend upward and outward — never just downward, or it drags the face. Apply blush on the apples of the cheeks blending toward the temples, and then add highlighter to the tops of the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, and the cupid's bow.

Pro tip: Use a fluffy brush for contour and blush, and a fan brush for highlighter. Less is more — build gradually and step back every 30 seconds to check the overall effect.

Pair with a long-wearing foundation underneath and a dusting of setting powder on top for all-day staying power.
